Yuval Noah Harari writes with humor and conviction about complex topics in human history starting with the evolution of Homo sapiens through the Agricultural, Scientific, and Industrial Revolutions. He makes convincing arguments in Sapiens about the tremendous success of the species in rising to the top of the food chain, altering the face of the planet wherever we’ve stepped, and ultimately, predicts our demise. This book is rich in ideas and original conclusions that leave the reader rethinking our role and responsibility regarding the fate of our planet.
